June 15 2008 - Hosted by CBC Radio's Adrian Harewood and with Lynn Scott, Chair of the OCDSB and Minister of the Environment, John Baird in attendance the 2008 EarthCARE EXPO was a huge success. Congratulations to the award winners and thank you to everyone who contributed to this memorable event.


What's New on the Site?

Making the connection between character education and EarthCARE

Student Arts - features environmentally themed songs, plays, skits, poems and drawings from EarthCARE students.

Focus on Books - books with an environmental theme or message have been selected for use by teachers to address literacy and numeracy curriculum outcomes. Suggested lesson plans accompany each book.

Letters to the Web Master
This addition to our site is designed for elementary and secondary students who wish to submit letters to the Web Master on a wide range of environmental topics. Visit the page and tell us what's on your mind!
